We, the Engineering Graduate students from the University of Missouri, Columbia have started our short film production house this May to perceive our passion in Filmmaking. It all started with writing and managing skits for Cultural Association (University of Missouri - Columbia) of India during International Night 2013, 2014. Our most salient association has been with Columbia Access Television (CAT), under which we have produced 2 short movies which were nominated at few film festivals. Recently a YouTube channel called Khelpedia has taken up our promotion/ marketing responsibility. All the revenue generated by Jokerface i.e. winning from film festivals and profits from Khelpedia goes to an NGO called “D.A.A.N Foundation (India)” which supports child education.
Check out the new short film in collaboration with Relume Dream Productions, “Mulaqat”. Directed by Vishal Sinha, staring Gautam Gurnani (from JokerFace Films).
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has directly or indirectly encouraged us to chase our dream. Our motto is to LIVE, LAUGH and ENTERTAIN. If you wish to be a part of us or have any idea to share, feel free to contact us. Dhanyawad.
